Miles McBride Makes NBA Debut

Las Vegas, Nevada – Miles “Deuce” McBride, who was picked 36th overall in the 2nd round of the 2021 NBA Draft last month, made his NBA debut for the New York Knicks in the Summer League today.

Although the Knicks lost 89-79 to the Toronto Raptors in their Summer League opener, McBride had a great showing.

McBride made his first shot of his Knicks career, a beautiful mid-range jumper that is very familiar to West Virginia fans.

McBride finished the game with 9 points (3-8 FG, 0-4 3PT, 3-3 FT), 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in 24 minutes of play.

McBride and the Knicks will be back in action on Wednesday, August 11 at 10:00PM eastern and the game will be shown live on ESPN2.
