Morgantown, West Virginia – Former West Virginia Mountaineers guard Miles “Deuce” McBride hasn’t had many opportunities to play so far as a rookie in the NBA this season, but tonight, McBride played four minutes and got his first career points for the New York Knicks!
McBride, in only his 2nd appearance of the season, guarded Devin Booker, one of the NBA’s top young players, and made a steal and then took the ball full court for a layup.

Although the Knicks lost to the Suns 118-97, this was perhaps the start of Miles McBride’s incredibly bright future with the team. Hopefully McBride’s defensive effort and hustle will get him more minutes in the Knicks’ rotation for upcoming games.
