Miles McBride Works Out with the Los Angeles Lakers

Morgantown, West Virginia – Former West Virginia Mountaineers guard Miles “Deuce” McBride recently met WVU legend Jerry West during a workout with the Los Angeles Clippers, the team West is an executive board member for.

Today, McBride worked out for the Los Angeles Lakers.

McBride recently decided to keep his name in the 2021 NBA Draft and not return for another season at WVU.

McBride, who averaged 15.8 points, 4.9 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game last season for the Mountaineers, is considered a late first round or early second round pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

While the Lakers are loaded with talent, the point guard position is an area of concern for the team and they could look to get McBride in the first round of the draft. The Lakers currently have the 22nd overall pick.

Could Miles McBride go from Morgantown to the bright lights of Los Angeles to play alongside one of the greatest players ever, LeBron James?
