Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, Governor Jim Justice announced that Monongalia County is officially the current “hot spot” in West Virginia. In addition, Justice said that he’s considering closing bars and indoor dining soon unless we get some real movement in ‘our direction.’ We need to restrict gatherings and get this stopped.”
Justice cited 246 new cases in the county and 400 total positive cases currently for additional steps being required. If social distancing and wearing masks doesn’t work, Justice threatened to shut down the entire state again.
According to Justice, “We probably have close to 80% wearing masks, but we need 99.9% of the people wearing a mask. If Cousin Eddie doesn’t want to wear a mask, then you’ll need to find a way to convince Cousin Eddie to wear one.”
