Mountaineers Complete No-Hitter Against Kent State

In an 8-0 shutout over the Kent State Golden Flashes Wednesday evening, four Mountaineer combined to pitch a shutout. Tyler Strechay, Dillon Meadows, Skylar Gonzalez, and Jacob Watters all saw time at the mound for West Virginia.

According to WVUSports, this is the first nine-inning no hitter for the Mountaineers since 2002. Now sitting with an 8-4 record, West Virginia will travel for a three game road series against Mercer beginning Friday.
