Morgantown, West Virginia – The #11 ranked West Virginia Mountaineers, now 11-5, were defeated by the Florida Gators, 10-4, in a hard-fought battle inside the Coliseum, 85-80.
The Mountaineers were led by an incredible performance by Derek Culver, who finished with 28 points and 12 rebounds (14-17 FT). Sean McNeil had one of his best performances of the season, finishing the game with 21 points on 5-10 from three and 7-13 from the field. Miles McBride struggled offensively, hitting only 3-13 from the field and was 0-5 from three point range, but added a season-high 9 rebounds.

The Mountaineers are back in action on the road at Iowa State on Tuesday, February 2nd.
