The West Virginia Mountaineers (19-8 overall and 7-7 in the Big 12) fell to the TCU Horned Frogs (15-12, 6-8) for an absolutely inexcusable, brutal loss on the road.

West Virginia was led by Derek Culver, who had a double-double and finished with with 18 points and 12 rebounds.  Taz Sherman had 16 points on 6-10 from the field and 2-4 from three point range.  Freshman Oscar Tshiebwe had his worst game of his collegiate career, finishing with 1 point and only 4 rebounds.

TCU’s center, Kevin Samuel, led the Horned Frogs with 19 points (7-7 FG) and 8 rebounds.  Sophomore guard RJ Nembhard had 14 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Mountaineers will stay in the state of Texas for a matchup against the Texas Longhorns on Monday evening at 7:00PM.  The game will be televised on ESPNU.
