Mountaineers Fall Short Against Baylor

Morgantown, West Virginia – The West Virginia Mountaineers battled back from 12 points down in the first half to push the #3 ranked Baylor Bears to overtime, but eventually lost 94-89.

West Virginia was led by Taz Sherman with 26 points off the bench and Sean McNeil’s 18 points on 7-10 from the field and 4-7 from three point range.

Miles McBride added 19 points and 7 assists and Jalen Bridges finished with 12 points and 6 rebounds.

 

The Mountaineers are back in action Thursday night at 7:00PM against TCU at the WVU Coliseum. The game will be televised live on ESPN+.
