Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, former Miami Hurricanes commit Ja’Corey Hammett has decided to de-commit from Miami and will attend West Virginia University.
Hammett, a 6’3 outside linebacker from Miami, Florida, is a former 3 star recruit. According to his message on social media, Hammet said of his decision: “Above all, I would like to thank God for giving me all of the blessings I have received thus far. I want to thank the University of Miami for being interested in my abilities and recruiting me. I want to thank my family for supported me and every decision I made along the way. With that being said, I will be de-committing from the University of Miami and I will be committing to West Virginia University. Go Mountaineers!”
