The #12 ranked West Virginia Mountaineers defeated the TCU Horned Frogs (12-4 overall, 3-1 in the Big 12) by a score of 81-49  to move to 14-2 overall and 3-1 in Big 12 Conference play.  The Mountaineers were led by Sophomore Forward Derek Culver, who finished the game with his fourteenth career double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Oscar Tshiebwe had a quiet 11 points and 6 rebounds.  Freshman Guard Miles McBride had 11 points (5-6 FG) and Sophomore Sean McNeil added 8 points off the bench for the Mountaineers.

The Horned Frogs were led by Senior Guard Desmond Bane, who had 13 points on 4-8 shooting.  Sophomore Guard RJ Nembhard added 14 points and 6 rebounds.  The Mountaineers outrebounded TCU 38-24.

West Virginia will next travel to Manhattan, Kansas to play the Kansas State Wildcats on Saturday, January 18th at 2:00PM.  The game will be televised on ESPNU.
