
The West Virginia Mountaineers, 19-7 overall and 7-6 in the Big 12 Conference, defeated the Oklahoma State Cowboys (13-13, 3-10) by a score of 65-47.
West Virginia had a very balanced attack with Taz Sherman finishing with 9, Jermaine Haley adding 9 and Miles McBride finished with 10 points. Sean McNeil contributed 11 points off the bench. Freshman Forward Oscar Tshiebwe had 8 points and 15 rebounds.
Oklahoma State got up early and led the Mountaineers by 5 points at halftime, but West Virginia went on a 9-0 run to start the second half and pulled away to win by 18 points.
The Cowboys were paced by Senior Forward Cameron McGriff, who had 17 points and 4 rebounds.
West Virginia will next play at TCU on Saturday, February 22 at 2:00PM. The game will be televised by ESPNU.
