Mountaineers Handles Horned Frogs

Fort Worth, Texas – The West Virginia Mountaineers, now 16-6 overall and 9-4 in the Big 12 Conference, won their sixth consecutive conference road game by defeating the TCU Horned Frogs (11-10, 4-8) 74-66.

Derek Culver led the Mountaineers with another double-double, finishing the game with 18 points and 14 rebounds.  Taz Sherman added 23 points and 3 assists off the bench, and Jalen Bridges contributed 9 points and 5 rebounds.

Earlier today, the Big 12 Conference cancelled West Virginia’s game on Thursday against the #2 Baylor Bears, so the team will now return back home to Morgantown instead of staying in Texas for the remainder of the week as previously scheduled.

The Mountaineers return to action on Saturday, February 27th at 4:00 inside the WVU Coliseum.
