Morgantown, West Virginia – The West Virginia Mountaineers (18-7 and 11-5 in conference play) got up early and stayed ahead the entire game, beating the TCU Horned Frogs, 76-67!

The win puts the Mountaineers firmly in second place in the Big 12 behind Baylor and sets up a huge game against Oklahoma State on Saturday.

West Virginia was led by an incredible performance from redshirt freshman Jalen Bridges, who recorded his first double-double of his young career, finishing with 22 points and 12 rebounds.  Derek Culver added 17 points and 8 rebounds.

The Mountaineers are back in action on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 against the 17th Oklahoma State in the West Virginia University Coliseum.  Bob Huggins will be going for win 900 in his long and illustrious career!
