Despite the poor performance against Oklahoma State on Saturday, Neal Brown has the Mountaineers in the right spot.
NCAA team statistics show West Virginia in the top 20 in both total offense (488 yards gained per game) and total defense (274 yards allowed per game). The take away? The program appears to be trending in the right direction despite the disappointing result in Stillwater. pic.twitter.com/lUQvP7hD6n

According to Jeff Cobb of Blue & Gold News, WVU currently ranks in the top 20 nationally in total offense and total defense.
The Mountaineers currently average 488 yards per game offensively, and allow only 274 yards per game defensively.
Though it may not appear so right now, Neal Brown has the Mountaineers climbing. As Cobb alluded to, these statistics indicate the program is heading in the right direction.
Remain calm and #TrustTheClimb. This was never meant to be an overnight fix. Neal Brown will eventually have West Virginia at the top of the Mountain.
