Neal Brown Has Worst Approval Rating in the Big 12

Morgantown, West Virginia – After starting 17-18 in three seasons with West Virginia, Neal Brown has faced incredible scrutiny and heat from the Mountaineers fanbase.

And according to The Athletic’s Max Olsen, Brown’s fan approval rating is the worst in the entire Big 12 Conference.

Olsen conducted a survey where fans were asked to rate how happy they are with their head coach right now on a scale of 1-10.

Brown received a rating of 5.20, which was by far the lowest in the conference.

Luke Fickell, the head coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats (who will join the Big 12 in 2024), received the highest rating of 9.96.

Although Brown’s rating is currently very low, a winning season or two would instantly turn it around. Check out the entire list approval ratings of Big 12 coaches below:
