Neal Brown named WVU’s most improved player during his radio show on Thursday – and who it was may surprise you.
Morgantown, WV – Neal Brown held his first radio show of the season at Kegler’s on Thursday evening. Amongst a plethora of questions regarding Penn State, Brown was asked who the team’s most improved player of the offseason was.
While many may have expected it to be a key contributor, his answer will likely surprise many.
Brown listed Offensive Lineman Nick Malone as the team’s most improved player. The Morgantown native is heading into his redshirt junior season with the Mountaineers, adding depth for an already stout offensive line.
While he may not be used as a primary offensive lineman in 2023, the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the Big 12 Conference will likely bode well for the 6’5”, 298 pound West Virginian moving forward.
Who are you expecting to make the most strides for WVU as they open up their 2023 season? Let us know in the comments!
