Morgantown, West Virginia – Following three consecutive losses and multiple players transferring from the West Virginia football program, Mountaineers head coach Neal Brown has moved up into the Top 10 of coaches who are on the hot seat.

Brown, who is 13-15 overall in his third season in Morgantown, is now listed as #9 on the college football coaches who are in most trouble of losing their jobs, according to https://coacheshotseat.com.

Brown joins South Florida’s Jeff Scott, Purdue’s Jeff Brohm, Nebraska’s Scott Frost, LSU’s Ed Orgeron, Syrcause’s Dino Babers, Miami’s Manny Diaz, North Texas’ Seth Littrell, FIU’s Butch Davis and Virginia Tech’s Justin Fuente in the top ten.

At 2-4 this season with few opportunities for potential wins, it’s entirely possible that the West Virginia Mountaineers could finish with only 2, 3 or 4 wins in Brown’s third season with the team.
