The winning coach of the Duke’s Mayo Bowl will take a “mayo bath” following the game.
Morgantown, WV – When the final whistle blows at the Duke’s Mayo Bowl, either Mack Brown or Neal Brown will be doused with mayonnaise. It is a tradition of the bowl game for the winning coach to take a “mayo bath” with media present.
Earlier today, Neal Brown spoke about the potential “mayo bath,” and claims he would “gladly” accept it for a 9th victory. The official Duke’s Mayo Bowl account shared the quote via X.

I’m sure all of Mountaineer Nation would be happy to see him receive the mayo bath following a 9th win.
WVU and North Carolina kickoff at 5:30 PM on December 27th. The game is set to broadcast on ESPN.
