Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago during Neal Brown’s weekly press conference, he said the following about freshman quarterback Garrett Greene: “We love how he competes and he has a lot of energy. He’s the leader in the newcomer developmental group.”
Brown went on to say, “We may see him on Saturday, we may not, but he’s a guy that has a bright future here.”
The Mountaineers are currently 5-4 and have struggled offensively, particularly in recent weeks, and Greene would be a perfect spark to get the offense going in the right direction. And at 5-4, what does West Virginia have to lose?
