New Bowl Projection Has WVU in Rematch With SEC Opponent

Jerry Palm of CBS Sports has released his post-week thirteen bowl projections. Last week, Palm had the Mountaineers in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. After some more dominoes fell during their bye week, WVU has found themselves with a different projection heading into their contest against Oklahoma.

According to Palm, the Mountaineers will be heading to the Autozone Liberty Bowl to take on the Tennessee Volunteers. On the season,  the Volunteers sit with a 2-5 record, and are in the midst of a five-game losing streak. Yesterday, they lost to the Auburn Tigers, 30-17.

WVU and Tennessee have only met once before, with the Mountaineers taking the 40-14 victory in the 2018 season opener.
