Nicco Marchiol a Future Mountaineer?

Morgantown, West Virginia – Four star quarterback Nicco Marchiol is officially in Morgantown, West Virginia for his official and every indication out of the athletic department suggests that the visit is going beautifully!

Marchiol, a 6’2 quarterback from Chandler, Arizona, was one of the Florida State Seminoles’ prize recruits in the 2022 class, but he has since decommitted from there and now he has focused on three schools: Arizona State, Michigan State and West Virginia.

Based on recent social media posts, West Virginia appears to be the favorite to land not the talented four star quarterback but also several other highly-rated players who are friends with Marchiol.

Mumu Bin-Wahad, a four star defensive back who visited West Virginia University last week, sent the following message to Marchiol recently on social media:

”We’re about to change everything.”

Marchiol’s response: “Bro…they (are) not ready.”

Marchiol is the type of quarterback who could come in and immediately compete for a starting position in Morgantown.

Flipping a major, high-impact, potential multi-year starting quarterback from Florida State would be a huge coup for head coach Neal Brown and staff.

The next few days will be a major weekend for the West Virginia Mountaineers.  It could be the weekend that Neal Brown lands one of the most important recruits during his time in Morgantown and the weekend that he convinces his future starting quarterback to come home to play for the Mountaineers!
