Noah Farrakhan Finds New Home

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Moments ago, former West Virginai Mountaineers guard Noah Farrakhan announced on his social media account that he has found a new home.

Farrakhan, a 6’1 senior from Hillside, New Jersey, will continue his career at Hampton University. 

Farrakhan played one season with the Mountaineers, averaging 7.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in his lone year with the team.

Prior to playing at West Virginia, Farrakhan played at Eastern Michigan, where he started 28 of 31 games played, averaging 12.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 0.7 steals

Although he showed flashes of brilliance at times last season, he struggled with consistency, shooting 40.9% from the field and 35.1% from three point range.

West Virginia finished the season 9-23 overall and 4-14 in the Big 12 Conference.
