Morgantown, West Virginia – West Virginia co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Gerad Parker is being targeted to become the next tight ends coach at Notre Dame.
Parker, 41, has spent the past two seasons with the Mountaineers, and shared the responsibility of offensive play-calling with Neal Brown last season.
Parker spent time at Penn State, Duke, Purdue, and Neal Brown recently referred to him as “one of the top wide receiver coaches in the nation.”
Although it’s unclear if Parker has interest, this would almost certainly be a pay raise for him and Notre Dame is one of the top football programs in the country.
Sources: Notre Dame is targeting Gerad Parker to become the school’s next tight ends coach. He’s worked most recently as the offensive coordinator at West Virginia and also had stops at Penn State, Duke and Purdue.
