Oklahoma’s Star Running Back Has Opted-Out of the 2020 Season

According to multiple sources, Oklahoma will be without redshirt junior running back Kennedy Brooks as he has decided to opt-out of the upcoming season due to COVID-19 concerns.

This comes as a big blow to the Sooners as they will already be replacing Jalen Hurts at quarterback, and have been dealt a plethora of injuries on the defensive side of the football.

Brooks is a two-time 1,000-yard rusher for the Sooners, and was expected to be a leader on the offense this season.
