Morgantown, WV – On September 13th, the West Virginia Mountaineers will host the Pittsburgh Panthers in the Backyard Brawl. This will mark the first Brawl for Rich Rodriguez since his return in December 2024. While it is expected that the home team has the advantage in rivalry games, Vegas has different feelings for this year’s WVU-Pitt matchup.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Panthers are currently 2.5-point favorites against the Mountaineers in September. This comes on the heels of their 38-34 win over West Virginia last September.
Despite this, Mountaineer fans still expect their team to put up a stout fight against the Panthers.
WVU and Pitt kickoff at 3:30 on September 13th. The game is set to broadcast on ESPN.
