Another week has passed, and another 2021 College Football preview magazine has hit the stands. Lindy’s Sports began June by releasing their annual preview guide, which included an in-depth look at every FBS conference. The Big 12 Conference, which is expected to be one of the most exciting in the nation this year, was featured as it always is.

As for our Mountaineers, their outlook for 2021 is looking to be rather mediocre, per the outlet. In the Big 12 standings, Lindy’s Sports has WVU coming in at 6th, just outside of the top half of the conference. However, despite the rankings, it was mentioned in the preview that “anything less than nine wins might be viewed as a disappointment.”

There was no record prediction given.

Here are the projected Big 12 standings, per Lindy’s Sports:

1. Oklahoma

2. Iowa State

3. Oklahoma State

4. Texas

5. TCU

6. West Virginia

7. Kansas State

8. Baylor

9. Texas Tech

10. Kansas
