Many student athletes and coaches alike are extremely upset with the Big Ten’s decision to punt their football season to the spring.

However, what many may not realize is the parents of these student athletes are equally as upset. Yesterday, the parents even wrote a letter to the conference urging them to “reconsider” their decision.

According to Clay Travis of Outkick the Coverage, this letter calls for a meeting with conference commissioner Kevin Warren in hopes the two sides can discuss the decision making process. The parents would also call the conference’s decision a “wrongdoing,” and plead with the leadership to fix their mistakes.

It is a long shot, but this letter also asks for the Big Ten to “reconsider” playing in the fall. While it is unlikely that it will be successful in changing any decisions, it shows that these parents are just as appalled with this decision as the general public.

The Big Ten dropped the ball, and they are being called out for it. It is unfortunate, but no change will come about until Kevin Warren is no longer the commissioner.
