Pat Narduzzi May Have Just Lost His Locker Room

Pitt Head Coach Pat Narduzzi made some questionable comments about his team following the Panthers’ 58-7 loss to Notre Dame.

South Bend, IN – Pitt Head Coach Pat Narduzzi is no stranger to hot takes. Many times throughout his career, his opinionated personality has put him in some not-so-favorable situations.

Today was no different – Narduzzi may have lost his locker room following his latest comments about his team.

Following a 58-7 loss to Notre Dame, Narduzzi had this to say about his current roster:

“We lost a lot of good players last year. We thought we’d replace them and we obviously didn’t do a good job with that.“

Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette share the quote via X.

Sitting at 2-6 overall and 1-4 in ACC play, this isn’t necessarily a comment that is going to keep your players on your side. This was evident with the reaction of a few Pitt players on social media.

Narduzzi realized his comments were out of line, and quickly backtracked following the reaction.

The Pitt Football program is in shambles. This will make Mountaineer fans all across the Mountain State very, very happy.
