Morgantown, West Virginia – A young man named Justin posted a video of himself at a West Virginia Mountaineers game on TikTok with the caption that read, “Is it too late to tell everyone that I got COVID two days ago?”

Justin, who appears to be sitting in a packed student section with no mask on, has been confirmed to not be a student at West Virginia University.
The University has confirmed that this person is not a WVU student. We continue to take this situation seriously and have shared this video with officials who can investigate further.

West Virginia University also said the following about the incident: “We’ve shared (the video) with our Student Conduct office, and they will investigate. Students who test positive and are in violation of our student code will be subject to discipline.”
