Phoenix Suns Eliminate Los Angeles Lakers From 2021 NBA Playoffs

Morgantown, West Virginia – The Phoenix Suns have eliminated the defending world champions from the 2021 NBA Playoffs, defeating the Los Angeles Lakers 113-100 in Game 6 of the series.

Forner West Virginia Mountaineers guard Jevon Carter did not see minutes in game six and only played 8 minutes in the entire series, finishing 0-3 from the field and 0-2 from the foul line.

The Suns were led by a tremendous performance from former Kentucky Wildcats guard Devin Booker, who had 47 points on 15-22 from the field.  Booker also had 11 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Suns will now move on to play the Denver Nuggets in the western conference semifinals.  Jevon Carter is expected to play more minutes against the Nuggets than he did against the Lakers.

Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals is Monday, June 7th at 10:00PM.

Carter averaged 4.1 points, 1.5, assists and 1.2, rebounds per game for the Suns in the regular season.
