Morgantown, WV – It is an exciting time for former WVU running back Quincy Wilson. After an eight year stint at the collegiate level, Wilson is taking his talents to the high school ranks.

According to Jack Hilgrove of WTOV News9, the Hancock County Board of Education has officially approved the hiring of Wilson as the head football coach of his alma mater, Weir High.

Wilson, a Weirton, West Virginia native, played for the school in the last 1990s. He would go on to have a successful career with the Mountaineers before being drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the 7th round of the 2004 NFL Draft.

He has spent time coaching at Glenville State, West Virginia State, and Fairmont State.
