MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — According to multiple sources, transfer guard RaeQuan Battle will not be eligible to play for the Mountaineers this season.
Battle, a 6’5 guard who averaged over 19 points per game at Montana State last season, had his eligibility waiver denied by the NCAA. Battle was expected to be a starter for the Mountaineers this season so this is a huge blow for the team’s upcoming season.
