Morgantown, WV – Former WVU Head Coach Dana Holgorsen is on the market for employment. Following a five-year stint with the Houston Cougars, Holgorsen was fired at the conclusion of the 2023 season that saw his team finish 4-8.
News regarding where Holgorsen may go next has been virtually nonexistent. However, it now appears that may not be the case much longer.
According to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, Holgorsen is “in talks” with the Nebraska Cornhuskers about a coaching position.

The position in question was not reported at this time.
This would mark the first time since the 2010 season that Holgorsen is not the head coach of a football program. He compiled a 92-69 record over the last 13 seasons.
