The Mountaineer Football team is reportedly losing a staff member to South Bend.
Morgantown, WV – Moments ago, John Brice of Football Scoop reported that Matt Jansen, WVU’s Director of Personnel and Scouting, is set to accept the same job for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Jansen has been a member of West Virginia’s staff since 2019. As a scouting director, he had a big hand in game-planning as well as roster management for the Mountaineers.
A deal is expected to be finalized in the coming days.
