Morgantown, West Virginia – Neal Brown and the Mountaineers have been hot on the recruiting trail lately. Just today, they landed two defensive players through the transfer portal in Buffalo Defensive Back Keyshawn Cobb and Tennessee State Defensive Lineman DayDay Hawkins.
West Virginia will have yet another opportunity to add to their defensive depth soon as Liberty Defensive Back Rocket Rahimi has included the Mountaineers in his top 3.
West Virginia, Kansas State and SMU are my top 3. Will be making a decision in the next day or two! Thank you to all the schools who reached out!

Rahimi tweeted his top schools earlier this evening – Kansas State and SMU are included with the Mountaineers. He states that he will make his decision in the “next day or so.”
During the 2022 season, Rahimi tallied 56 tackles (32 assisted, 24 solo), intercepted 5 passes, and had one fumble recovery.
