Romando Johnson Commits to West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Moments ago, three star defensive end, Romando Johnson, announced that he is committing to play for the West Virginia Mountaineers!

Johnson, who is from Pompano Beach, Florida, had offers from Florida, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Michigan, Penn State and many others, chose the Mountaineers after a visit to Morgantown this weekend.

According to MaxPreps, Johnson “started his junior year off at Palm Beach Central before transferring into Salem (NJ) and then eventually joining Monarch at the tail end of season. While in the Garden State, totaled 19 tackles (6 TFL), 3 sacks and a FR.
2022: Played sophomore season at Wellington where he racked up 28 tackles (3 TFL), 9 QBH, 6 sacks, a FF and a FR per MaxPreps.”

Eldan Bucannan – 6’8, 300 pound three star offensive lineman from Olney, Maryland

Tyshawn Dues – 5’10, 170 pound three star wide receiver from Hurricane, West Virginia

Thomas Barr – 6’3, 290 pound offensive lineman from Haverford, Pennsylvania
