Sammy Etienne Commits to West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Neal Brown and his coaching staff have clearly made the defensive secondary a real priority in the offseason. Moments ago, SAMMY ETIENNE announced that he has committed to play for the West Virginia Mountaineers

Etienne, a 6’0 185 pound defensive back from Auburndale, Florida, was in Morgantown last weekend for an official visit and was clearly happy with what he saw.

Etienne is a three star recruit and has offers from Akron, Charlotte, Colorado State, Kansas State, Marshall and USF, among several others.

In high school, Etienne was two-way player and had 59 tackles, 4 pass breakups, and interception on defense while catching 15 passes for 237 yards and a TD on offense.

Eldan Bucannan – 6’8, 300 pound three star offensive lineman from Olney, Maryland

Tyshawn Dues – 5’10, 170 pound three star wide receiver from Hurricane, West Virginia

Thomas Barr – 6’3, 290 pound offensive lineman from Haverford, Pennsylvania
