Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, Josh Chandler-Semedo officially entered the transfer portal.

Chandler-Semedo, a senior linebacker from Canton, Ohio, played in all 13 games this season for the Mountaineers, finishing with 68 solo tackles, 42 assisted tackles (110 total) and 2 interceptions.

Chandler-Semedo previously said he would return for another season in the following message on social media: “I have been blessed to have a great career at West Virginia, which has allowed me to be in a position to have an opportunity to play at the next level and pursue my dreams. I am extremely grateful for that.

However, there is still unfinished business. With that being said, I am returning to play my Senior year in pursuit of closing this chapter with one more country road!”
