After Commissioner Bowlsby announced that the Big 12 Tournament would be played without fans in attendance, WVU Athletic Director Shane Lyons released a statement regarding the decision.

Lyons shared his support of Bowlsby decision stating that it is “necessary to curb the threat” of the Coronavirus. Also addressing the refund to individuals who purchased tickets to the tournament through the Mountaineer Ticket Office, Lyons added that a decision would be made in the coming days.
