Yesterday, WVU Athletic Director Shane Lyons had the opportunity to sit down with Tony Caridi and discuss the upcoming season at hand for the Mountaineers.
During this interview, the two gentlemen had the opportunity to cover a vast variety of topics — one being how WVU’s conference schedule will shape up this football season.
When asked the question, Lyons responded that the schedule will “100%” be guaranteed to change. He would state that the conference is working hard to implement “three to four” bye weeks throughout the season to give cancelled and postponed games the chance to be rescheduled.
Lyons would also add that Eastern Kentucky is still on, and will be the season opener for the Mountaineers on September 12th.
The interview was masterfully put together by the University, and can be found at WVUSports.com.
