Sister Jean Predicts Deep Run for the Mountaineers

Morgantown, West Virginia – Iconic NCAA basketball figure, 101 year old Sister Jean, became famous overnight during the 2018 NCAA Tournament, going from a simple, unheard of nun to one of the tournament’s brightest stars.

Sister Jean is the chaplain for the Loyola University of Chicago basketball team and has been courtside for Loyola’s upset wins against Miami and Tennessee in recent NCAA Tournaments.

This year, she has Loyola making it to the Elite 8, where she predicts that they will lose to the West Virginia Mountaineers!

Sister Jean said the following: “I have my guys going to the Elite 8, but then I think they’ll lose to West Virginia there.  I have West Virginia in the Final Four.”

Sister Jean’s other Final Four picks are Gonzaga, BYU and Baylor, and she has Gonzaga winning the national championship in her bracket.  Check out her interview with Andy Katz below:
