Football is back in Morgantown as the West Virginia Mountaineers open spring practice today. It has been a longer than 3 months since WVU last took the field in Fort Worth, Texas against the Horned Frogs of TCU. Fans all across the Mountain State will be watching closely over the next seven weeks as many storylines will make their way to social media.
A quarterback battle, and a “work-in-progress” running game will be the focus of the offense, while the defense attempts to replace experience in the secondary. It will be a long wait until the annual Gold-Blue Spring Game on April 18th; but there will be no shortage of excitement until then.
The 2020 season begins now.
