Star Running Back’s Career at West Virginia Likely Over

Morgantown, West Virginia – Senior running back Leddie Brown has almost certainly played his final game for the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Brown, who rushed for 156 yards against Kansas in the team’s final regular season game, will go down in West Virginia history as one of the greatest running backs in program history.

Brown finished with 1,065 yards this season and now has 2,888 yards in his collegiate career, which is 6th all-time at West Virginia.

Prior to his final game, Brown posted the following message on his personal social media account:

It now appears that Brown will likely skip West Virginia’s bowl game and will prepare for the NFL Draft.  Best of luck to one of the greatest running backs ever at West Virginia in his future!
