Morgantown, West Virginia – Following West Virginia’s disappointing loss at Baylor, Mountaineers’ head coach Bob Huggins confirmed that senior guard Taz Sherman suffered a concussion late in the game.

”We have a guy in there laying on the ground with a concussion and the refs didn’t even stop the game, didn’t call a foul, nothing.”

Sherman, who had a career-high 29 points, was hit in the face, fell to the ground and was unable to continue playing. Sherman left the game early and went to the locker room as the team fell to Baylor.

“I don’t know, concussions are hard to predict. I don’t know when we’ll get Taz back. He’ll want to get back immediately but he has a concussion and that’s painful. He’s laying on the ground in there hurting right now.”
