Morgantown, West Virginia – Former West Virginia Mountaineers guard Teddy “Buckets” Allen has found a new home.

While at West Virginia, Allen averaged 7.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game as a freshman.  However, he spent most of his time in Morgantown in Bob Huggins’ doghouse.

He transferred then bounced around from Western Nebraska Community College, then Wichita State and then Nebraska.  Allen was the Cornhuskers last season, averaging 16.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game before deciding to transfer in the middle of the season.

Now, Allen has committed to play at New Mexico State for his final year of college eligibility.  Although Allen has had problems during his college career, he is a talented enough scorer to one day play professionally.

Best of luck to Teddy at his new home!
