Teriq “Magic” Tallory Officially Commits to West Virginia

Morgantown, WV – Neal Brown and the Mountaineers have been hot on the recruiting trail. After committing to Wake Forest on April 13th, Teriq “Magic” Tallory, a three-star receiver from Cheshire, Connecticut, has now flipped his commitment and will now play for the West Virginia Mountaineers!

In a message posted on his official Instagram account, Mallory said the following: “Most people wanna go where they hide the hills but I stay where the mountains dew.”

Mallory is currently rated the 144th over receiver and the 9th overall prospect from the state of Connecticut, per 247Sports. He holds offers from many FBS programs – Maryland, Duke, and UMass among others. Mallory is currently visiting West Virginia University on an official visit and has clearly been persuaded to make the move to Morgantown.

Standing at 6’5” and weighing 190, Mallory has the perfect frame to be a productive receiver in the Big 12. In addition to Mallory, the Mountaineers are expected to add several other recruits during this big-time recruiting weekend.

In addition to Mallory, the other visitor this weekend to officially announce his commitment to play for the Mountaineers was four star running back Deandre Desinor. The other 2025 commits for West Virginia are as follows:
