After trailing by nine points in the second half, the fourth-ranked Longhorns used a second half comeback to knock off the fourteenth-ranked Mountaineers in Morgantown, 72-70.

With only seconds left, Andrew Jones hit a three pointer to push the Longhorns in front of the Mountaineers. This came after Emmitt Matthews missed two free throws at the other end of the court that would have extended WVU’s lead.

Taz Sherman led all Mountaineers with 17 points, and Culver once again had a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds.

WVU will travel to Baylor for their next contest. The game tips off at 9:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN2.
