Texas Tech Starting Quarterback OUT for WVU Game

Morgantown, West Virginia –The West Virginia Mountaineers will attempt to bounce back this Saturday at home against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Moments ago, it was announced that Texas Tech’s starting quarterback, Tyler Shough, will miss the game.

Shough, a Junior transfer from Oregon, was injured this past weekend in Texas Tech’s loss at Texas.

Shough has a broken collarbone and will be out “until at least November.”

Shough started all four games for Texas Tech this season and completed 67.9% of his passes for 804 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions through his first three games before being injured.
