Texas’ Top Player Likely Out for the Season

Morgantown, West Virginia – Texas Longhorns’ sophomore running back Bijan Robinson injured his elbow and is “likely done for the season”, according to the Austin American-Statesman.

Robinson, who has rushed 195 times for 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns, is the leading rusher for Texas.  Robinson was injured in the 3rd quarter of the Longhorns’ humiliating 57-56 overtime loss at home to Kansas.  Before he left the game, Robinson had 14 carries for 70 yards, as well as three catches for 48 yards and a touchdown.

This, of course, is a huge loss for Texas and bodes well for West Virginia, who needs to win their final two games at home against Texas and on the road at Kansas to become bowl eligible.
