We are all awaiting word on what to expect of a College Football season in 2020. While an official decision may be a good while off, we have began to receive some insight as to what kind of delays we can expect for the season.

According to Brooks Austin of Sports Illustrated, word of an October or November start is beginning to be circulated around in the world of College Football. This delay would come if the current numbers of COVID-19 do not begin to show improvement in the coming days, and would rely on the hopes of creating a safe vaccine by the end of the year.

Brooks would also point out that the longer the delay for the season, the less likely that star players will participate in the season due to the 2021 NFL Draft.

Those in charge of the major conferences are expected to meet in the coming week.
